Internationalization
Internationalisation is a strategic direction for the development of UoSS. It has been taking place for many years in several areas. In the area of scientific research, a key role is played by the implementation of international research and implementation projects (Horizon 2020, Erasmus+), the creation of international research teams which publish in world-renowned journals in the following disciplines: information technology and management and quality sciences. The University can also pride itself on employing and cooperating with several dozen scientific authorities representing universities from all over the world. The exchange and scientific cooperation of our research staff is also active, although during the konronavirus pandemic mobility took on remote forms. The area of education is the development of double degree programmes with prestigious universities: Clark University. The programmes are conducted in English and include Master's studies (MSPC, MSIT, MPA, MBA), but also bachelor's and two doctoral programmes (Management and IT). The dual degree programme with Clark University has been accredited by the world's oldest accreditation agency from the USA - NICHE, which evaluates the quality of education at universities belonging to the "Ivy League". The University has signed over 80 agreements on international cooperation and has been successfully implementing student and academic exchanges within the Erasmus+ programme and bilateral exchanges for many years. Students of our University willingly participate in internships offered within the Erasmus + programme. The sphere of implementation and cooperation with the environment, corresponding to the third mission of an academic university, is realised by means of over 20 international projects implementing innovative solutions in commercial, public and third sector activities. Among the university's international business partners cooperating in the implementation, research and teaching processes, there are several dozen companies where our graduates are employed. The plans related to internationalisation that are being implemented envisage obtaining the most important international accreditations for educational programmes and strengthening cooperation with international business.
